The BUZZ is Back!
We’re back from winter break with lots of Buzz to share. This post introduces some people & places we’ll be writing about this spring. Including three local female entrepreneurs. All with ties to the Andovers — Jennifer Magnuson, Amal Grammas & Whitney Liechti. A peek at North Andover’s Marble Ridge Winery & Airbnb. Tantalizing food from Private Chef Charles Brousseau. Some dining buzz on Bueno Malo, Boston Barbecue & Akita Ramen. And shopping buzz on who’s hosting this May’s Artisan Market at the Mills. Plus, a scoop on plans to transform Downtown Andover’s Old Town Hall. And a Local Real Estate Market Update.
Jennifer Magnuson of Baby Viking Photography
North Andover’s Jennifer Magnuson owns Baby Viking Photography. The creative entrepreneur is emphasizing female entrepreneurs this year. Watch her visual branding session with local Executive Coach Amal Grammas below. Amal is publishing her first book & needed superior visual content for her media kit. She got it. And the 2 female entrepreneurs had fun in the process!
Amal Grammas of Grammas Executive Coaching
Powered by Jennifer Magnuson’s visual branding, Executive Coach & Podcast Host Amal Grammas is set for the launch of her new book. I Know You’re in There Somewhere. Her office is above Downtown Andover’s Caffè Nero. We had coffee there recently & she let me in on the scoop about her Book Signing on Thursday, May 11th, 4 to 6pm, at the Andover Bookstore. Hope to see you there! Plus, I got my hands on an advanced copy & will blog about it soon!

Whitney Liechti of Healthy at Home Physical Therapy
Worried about a loved one at home struggling with mobility issues? Then you need to contact North Andover’s Whitney Liechti, who owns Healthy at Home Physical Therapy. Her mobile physical therapy practice brings one-on-one, outpatient physical therapy into the comfort of your home. Her team of therapists specialize in improving the safety & functional mobility of seniors where they live. In-home physical therapy is a much needed service in the area & everywhere.
Marble Ridge Winery & Airbnb
North Andover is home to an amazing winery & Airbnb on the grounds of an historic property. I got a tour with owner Brig Leland on a raw, late-February afternoon. And Jennifer Magnuson took some beautiful photographs. Her visual branding is truly top-notch! So, stay tuned for a follow-up post on this unique local business. I even got a private wine tasting with a view of the surprisingly high-tech winemaking equipment. And as someone who always drinks Chardonnay, I left with a bottle of Sauvignon Blank — light, clean & crisp. And Riesling — no cloying taste that I typically associate with this type of wine.

Private Chef Charles Brousseau
One of the most sought-after referrals is a private chef. Well you’re in luck. Private Chef Charles Brousseau has started serving North of Boston communities. And we’ll be posting more about him in the coming months. For now, take a peek at some of his delicious creations. Like Wagyu steak with lemon & asparagus risotto, glazed carrots, beef demi & allium ash. And you will love how beautifully he plates each menu option. To inquire about his services, email Chef Brousseau.

Faneuil Hall in Downtown Andover?
That’s just one of the New-Use Ideas being bandied about for Downtown Andover’s Old Town Hall. Locally owned mom & pop shops — like Elsie’s Pantry — building business & community in the stately brick building.
